Vertical Suits

Vertical Suits is a fast-growing Canadian manufacturer of custom skydiving suits and accessories. Each of their suits are made-to-measure, and customers are able to choose from dozens of customization options.

Needing to move on from old technology, Vertical Suits engaged Gravit-e to develop a new order and manufacturing management system to support their ongoing growth. This system integrates directly with the firm’s Shopify e-commerce site, which provides a “suit builder” for customers to design and preview their ideal suit. Once the purchase is made, the order along and all the applicable details is immediately pushed to the manufacturing management system. Here the order is tracked through its entire life cycle, from the moment it is placed, through all the stages of manufacturing, until it ships. In addition to these production management tools, the software also provides real-time breakdowns of inventory, materials and reports on production efficiency.
